Ansell, 60, of Indian Head, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, in the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Oct. 11, 1941, at Scullton, a son of Eleanor Ritenour Ansell of Normalville and the late Charles Ansell. He was employed by the Right of Way Clearing Company of Acme and he was a member of Union Local #1058. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Patricia McMillen Ansell; three daughters, Hope Barnhart and her husband Tracy of Normalville, Lori Peck and her husband John of Indian Head and Erin Ansell at home; three grandchildren, Matthew Barnhart, Tyler Peck and Patrick Ansell; four brothers, Ronald Ansell of Pittsburgh, Carl Ansell of the state of Maryland, Clifford Ansell and his wife Cindy and James Ansell, all of Normalville; four sisters, Dolly Mitts and her husband Clifford of Stahlstown, Barbara Sherbondy and her husband John of Normalville, Nancy Heidenberg and Lillian Denny, both of the state of Maryland. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by two brothers, Roger and Larry Ansell. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the CLYDE BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 711, Melcroft, where services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Arndt and the Rev. Thomas Milford officiating. Interment will follow in the Scullton Cemetery.
