          Charles Cramer obit
          Charles R. Cramer, 59, of New Freeport RD1 (Deep Valley), died unexpectedly at 6 p.m. Monday, May 5, 1997, in his home. He was born Sept. 22, 1937, in Springhill Township (Deep Valley), a son of the late Glen L. and Thelma Caseman Cramer. Mr. Cramer had resided in Smithton for 22 years prior to returning to Deep Valley in 1983. He was Protestant by faith. He was a 1955 graduate of Waynesburg High School. Mr. Cramer was employed as a trade carpenter with Union Local 541 in Pittsburgh for 30 years prior to his retirement in 1987 due to ill health. He had worked for several companies, including Dick Corp., Donora Construction, Casey Construction and Massaro Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting and was an avid NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed working his farm. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Roberta Fisher Cramer, whom he married May 2, 1981; two daughters, Vicky Null of Kittanning and Christine McCauley of Greensburg; a son, Charles R. Cramer Jr. of Missouri; two stepsons, James Keating of Herminie and John Keating of Monroeville; three grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Greta Joan Kimble, who died March 1, 1993. He was the last of his immediate family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the RUSH FUNERAL HOME INC., Rogersville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Erwin ``Woody'' Wilson officiating. Interment in Hutchison Cemetery, Springhill Township.
