    Edna Wright Moose, 96, formerly of Aleppo, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2001, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, W.Va., after being a resident of Cameron Continuous Care Center, Cameron, W.Va., since January 1998.
    She was born June 6, 1904, in Aleppo Township, Greene County, a daughter of Winfield and Lillie Hughes Wright.
    Mrs. Moose had resided in Aleppo Township most of her life, where she was a member of Windy Gap Independent Church.
    She was a graduate of Aleppo Township High School and had attended Waynesburg College, California State Teachers College and earned her teaching certification from West Liberty State College in West Virginia.
    Mrs. Moose was an elementary school teacher in Springhill Township, Greene County and Albert Gallatin area schools in Fayette Township for 29 years prior to her retirement in 1969.
    She was a member of National, State and Fayette County Retired Teachers associations.
    She was married to Carl E. (Buck) Moose, who died February 6, 1946.
    Surviving are a daughter, Olive Martin of Washington; a son, Beryl Moose of DuBois; two sisters, Betty Kennedy of Pace, Fla., and Mary Lou Ullom of Cameron; four grandchildren, Alisa Ward, Brenda Spellen, Carl B. Riffle and Barry A. Martin; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
    Deceased are a daughter, Madelyn Riffle; seven sisters, Thelma and Wreatha Simms, Lucille Moore, Nell Yoders, Josephine Garland, Olive Pettit and Willa Jean Kretzing; and three brothers, Milton, Wayne and Robert Wright.
