      John R. Gary, 68, of Markleton RD 1 died Oct. 22, 1994, at home. Born
      Sept. 15, 1926, in Upper Turkeyfoot Township. Son of the late Jacob and
      Minnie (Miner) Gary. Preceded in death by his wife, the former Doris
      Carney; son, Robert John; brothers, Charles, Harry and Lester Gary, and
      sisters, Rosie Trimpey and Katie Mostoller. Survived by daughters, Mrs.
      Ronald (Rosetta) Hostetler, Confluence RD 1, and Mrs. Jacob (Pauline)
      Leonard, Markleton RD 1; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and
      close friend, Sarah Sanner of Confluence RD 1. Brother of Norman,
      Markleton RD 1; Frank, Somerset RD 2; Paul, Rockwood RD 1; Mrs. Homer
      (Lillie) Brocht and Mrs. Harold (Gladys) Kreger, both of Rockwood RD 3, and
      Mrs. Dwight (Edna) Tressler of Confluence RD 3. Member of Kingwood Church
      of God, the Ursina American Legion and the Confluence VFW. World War II
      veteran of the U.S. Navy. Friends will be received from 2 until time of
      funeral service at 8 p.m. today (Monday) at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral
      Home, Rockwood, Rev. James Monticue officiating. Interment, Old Bethel
      Church Cemetery.
