      Note: GARY Alice B. Gary, 85, formerly of Erie, died Nov. 2, 1995, at Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. Born April 19, 1910, in Rockwood, a daughter of the late Daniel M. and Susan (Swick) Younkin. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Millcreek Township schools as a custodian. Member of the Church of the Brethren in Erie and the Senior Citizen Center in Erie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Silas J. Gary, in 1979: two half-brothers, Elburn Mongold and Emery Younkin; four half-sisters; Grace Mongold Judy, Hanna Mongold, Missouri Younkin Shumaker and Malzena Younkin Shafer. She is survived by one son, Robert D. Gary of Maitland, Fla., and one daughter, Mrs. Howard Betty Herchelroath of North Huntington; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. There will be no public visitation. Interment, Erie County Memorial Garden Park. Daily American, December 4, 1995
