      Norman Gary, 77, of Somerset RD 5, died April 6, 1974, in Somerset Community Hospital. He was born July 6, 1896, in Scullton, Pa., son of the late John and Catherine (Ansell) Gary. Preceded in death by one son, Edgar, one daughter in infancy, four brothers and two sisters. Survived by his wife Margaret (Buratty) Gary. The following children: Everett of Friedens
      RD 1; Mrs. Pauline Gadd of Lakewood, Ohio; Mrs. Ruth Albright of Medina Ohio; Mrs. Jean Bittner of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. June Day of Cleveland, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A brother of James, Ferling, Mrs. Catherine Collins and Mrs. Rachael Pyle, all of Rockwood RD 3; and Michael of Boswell. A coal miner by occupation, veteran of World War I, United States Army. Friends are being received at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Father Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery.
