        Mary Ankney obit
        Mary C. Hutter Ankney, 69, of Acme RD1, Mt. Pleasant Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1993, in Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Oct. 18, 1923, in Pleasant Unity, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Fairy Bronson Hutter. Prior to retirement, she was employed as a nurse at Greensburg, Latrobe and Johnstown hospitals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Viola Rackman; and two brothers, Harry R. and Edison J. Hutter. She is survived by her husband, Ray F. Ankney; one daughter, Susan Ankney of Buckhannon, W.Va.; two sons, Thomas R. of Mt. Pleasant RD6 and Daniel Ankney of Acme RD1; and one sister, Hazel Marrs of Schenectady, N.Y. No visitation. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the JAMES P. GAUT FUNERAL HOME INC., Pleasant Unity, with the Rev. Gary B. Atkinson officiating. Private interment in the St. Paul Reformed Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
