Potts, son, and Mettie Bayless and Sallie Curfman, daughters. According to Thomas Gearhart of Cleveland Ohio she died suddenly under unusual circumstances (his letter of 11 Feb 1992 to James Geary). He said she had a daughter, Malinda Miller, who was raised by the mother's sister, Sarah Bisch, who permitted her to change her last name to Gary. On April 25, 1915, this Malinda Gary witnessed, along with Sarah Bisch (Aunt Sadie) and others, the petition of Annie McLaine Gary for the pension of her husband, James Alexander Gary.
