        Dean S. Geary, 76, of Mount Pleasant, R.D.5, went home to meet his Lord on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, in IHS of Greater Pittsburgh at Greensburg. He was born March 7, 1926, in Champion, a son of the late Alexander and Ruth Bowman Geary. He was employed for 36 years by Latrobe Steel Co. He was a member of the Wooddale Bible Brethren Church and was a veteran having served on the U. S. Rocky Mountain in the South Pacific with the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Reed, Glenn and Paul Ivan Geary; two sisters, Frances Daniels and Jean Zelenske; and a grandson, Benjamin Geary. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Hauger Geary; two sons, Ronald and his wife, Susan Geary, of Stahlstown and Lynn and his wife, Carol Geary, of Kecksburg; five grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Adam, Cale and Naomi Geary; four great-grandchildren, Rachel, Noah, Marybeth and Hannah Geary; and a brother, Dale Geary of Acme, R.D.1. Family will receive friends at the L. BOYD SNYDER FUNERAL HOME INC., Church Street, Donegal, from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Geary Witt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Joy Cemetery. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Wooddale Bible Brethren Church, R.D.5 Box 516, Mount Pleasant, Pa. 15666. Jamie Snyder Brown, funeral director.
