        Note: THE DAILY COURIER CONNELLSVILLE, PA. WEDNESDAY. JANUARY 3, 1934. page 5 JOHN H. MILLER, SOMERSET CIVIL WAR VETERAN, DEAD Special to The Courier. SOMERSET, Jan 3.-John H. Miller, one of three surviving veterans of the Civil War residing in Somerset, died Monday, five days before he would have marked his 90th birthday He had been bedfast since October 16 and in a coma since Thursdaay. Mr. Miller served two enlistments in the Civil War, one with Company A, 110th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and the other with Company L, 17th Regiment, Illinois. Since the war, he had been a carpenter and for years was a Justice of the peace. His wife Phoebe Chrise Miller died 12 years ago. Mrs William Knupp of Bakersville is a daughter, Oscar O Miller of Pittsburg, a grandson, and Mrs Susan Firestone of Connellsville, Mrs Mary E. Geary of Vanderbile (sic), and Mrs Joan Williams of Washington, Pa , sisters.
