In 1839, preached the funeral of Ann (Lide) Twitty Burn, widow of John and Thomas Twitty and wife of Absalom Burn, possible relation of his grandmother Dorothea Burn. Absalom Burn appears in Marlboro/Chesterfield Counties and married Ann on 14 Jun 1804; he died on 21 Jan 1819 in an accident. Ann was born 13 Mar 1778.
