Father was living in Madisonville, KY at about time of birth (see notes for father, John Dillard Collins).

1880 US Census inconsistently gives mother of Rosalie Furman as being born in KY and mother of Lucy Furman as being born in TN (see notes under Williams Furman and John Donald Gunn).
