A banker in Scranton, PA with an enthusiatic interest in politics. Got himself and his family into severe financial difficulties embezzling at the time of the stock crash of 1929. Much information about his family is from monograph written by daughter Norma Miller. Both parents died before 1900, when he and his yuounger brother Theodore were living with their uncle Friderick Miller. In 1910, they were boarding with an unrelated George Miller, during which time Wm. C. became good friends with George Miller's son Frank R. Miller, of about the same age.
