    Hermon Brugh landed in Philadelphia 20 SEP 1743 on the ship "Lydia".
    In 1770 we Find him named as one of members of the German Baptist group at Conewago,
    established in 1741 (Dr. M.G. Brumbaugh, History of Church)
    Pennsylvania Archives 3rd series, Vol. XXI, page 118, Hermon SR. is named in the tax records of Reading Twp. He died in 1796. His will was probated May 24, 1796. Letters were granted to his eldest son Peter Brugh & John Stauffer.
