    !Her obituary in the "Centre Daily Times" of Sun. 14 Dec 1996 read: "Ida M. Ishler, 84, of Bellefonte died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at Centre Community Hospital. She was born in Bellefonte Nov. 5, 1912, a daughter of the late Edward and Lottie Heaton Houser. In Frederick, Md. on Jan. 17, 1931, she married Fred Ishler, who died Sept. 1, 1994. She attended Valley View School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed canning, gardening and working with flowers. She was a member of Valley View United Methodist Church. She is survived by four daughters, Shirley Corl and Donna Confer, both of Bellefonte; Peggy Streff of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Susan Ayock of Clovis, Calif., five sons, Norman R., Robert F., and Kenneth, all of Bellefonte, Wayne E. of Oak Forest, Ill., and Dennis L. of Mechanicsburg; one sister, Marian Saxion of Bellefonte; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grand children; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon K. Ishler, who died in 1987. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Wetzler Funeral Home, 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Richard F. Heinrich and Todd A. Confer officiating. Burial will be in Meyer Cemetery in Benner Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley View United Methodist Church, 1438 Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte, Pa. 16823; or to the Arthritis Foundation, Central Pennsylvania Chapter, P.O. Box 668, Camp Hill, Pa. 17001."
