This is a database of the Six Nations, namely, the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, Seneca and Tuscarora. Known historically but incorrectly as the Iroquois, these nations are the Haudenosaunee, the People of the Longhouse. Some thirty other Indian nations and selected non-Native Americans are included for continuity or historical interest. After a long dormant period this database is active once again.
