There are missing generations tying him to Sir James Anthony Drane & his son ,James Anthony. There has been some speculation that there was a son named "WILLIAM" of James Anthony Drane , who arrived in 1634 & who may have been the missing link. However, we have found no verified evidence of that person in the early DRANE family tree. We are not sure whether his name was "ANTHONY" or "JAMES ANTHONY".He was a member of St. Barnabas Church in Queen Ann's Parish which was created from a petition division of St. Paul"s Church at Baden, located 12 miles southeast of Washington, D.C.It should be noted that Anthony's will was witnessed by Clement Hill,Patrick Hepburn,& Benjamin Hall who was possibly related to a HESTER HALL the wife of his son ANTHONY according to some sources.
