Isaac H. GRISWOLD is listed in the 1880 Census records for Seattle (King County), WA as living with Henry S. COLBURN. Henry's wife's name was Laura. I suspect she may be Isaac H. Griswold's sister. I can provide a little more information on Henry and Laura, but I have not yet "proven" that Laura's maiden name was GRISWOLD.

More important is that Isaac H. GRISWOLD was married twice. His second wife was Mary A. PINCKNEY. They were married on June 13, 1881. The reference is page 37 in the book "Washington Marriages from 1803 to 1899". I believe they were divorced as they are listed as living in separate residences in the 1890 City Directory for Seattle, WA and also in the 1900 Census records for Seattle.

According to the California Death Index (CADI) Mary A. PINCKNEY GRISWOLD was born December 11, 1857 (possibly Sioux City) in Iowa and died February 6, 1945 in San Francisco, CA. Her older brother John M. PINCKNEY was married first to Emma Chapin PERKINS, the youngest sister of my GG Grandfather, George Douglas PERKINS. I have a lot of information on the PINCKNEY family if you are interested.

Isaac GRISWOLD and Mary A. PINCKNEY GRISWOLD had 4 children (at least that is what is listed for her in the 1900 Census records for Seattle). I only know of two of them.

According to the CADI, John Milton GRISWOLD was born February 2, 1885 in Washington and died on Nov 21, 1951 in San Francisco. His older sister, Mary L. GRISWOLD was born June 17, 1882 in Washington and died May 30, 1949 in San Mateo, CA.

I have not yet found where Mary and her children are buried or if John M. GRISWOLD was married.

I also do not know when Isaac's first wife Katie Naomi Phillips died or where she is buried.
