    Some researchers believe this Elijah Shinkle married Talitha Elizabeth Shrum in Barry Co., Mi ssouri, in 1875. However, Ms. Shrum married a younger Elijah Shinkle. They appear in the 18 80 Barry Co., Missouri census, page 326D, living in Roaring River. Elijah is 32; Eliza is 20 . They have 2 daughers: Ermenie, 4; and, Annie L., 1. My Elijah Shinkle's age would have be en between 69/70 in 1880.
