Note: ELEAZER LELAND'S WILL. I, Eliezar Layland, aged 33 yrs., being at present under the hand of Almighty God, and visited with great sickness and weakness, and uncertain of the time of my dissolution, yet through God's mercy, having the full use of my reason and understanding, I do give this as my last will and testament.--First. I give and bequeath my soul into the hands of my gracious Creator and Redeemer; my body, (at death) I commit unto the grave, in hope of a glorious resurrection; and as for what I here possess of the worlds goods, whether of lands, moneys, or moveables, I give, will and bequeath all unto my loving and dearly beloved wife, Sarah Layland, as her proper estate, to use and dispose of as she please, and do hereby make her the sole Executrix of this will.
In witness whereof I have, others present, set my hand and seal this 16th day of October. Anno Dm. 1691.

SETTLEMENT OF THE ESTATE OF EBENEZER LELAND. October 18, 1742. Administration on the estate of Ebenezer Lealand, late of Sherburn, deceased--is granted to Timothy Lealand, of Holliston, husbandman.

The account of Timothy Lealand, adminis'r of the estate of his father Ebenezer Lealand, late of Sherburn, in the County of Middlesex, deceased, intestate.
The said accountant, charges himself with the estate of the said deceased, specified in an Inventory, thereof exhibited into the Probate office, for said County on the 18th of October, 1742,--amounting in the whole to S (???) Personal 190-10s.-6d., and he now adds--viz:

Middlesex, ss. Nov. 6, 1743. Dea. Timothy Lealand, the administrator, presented the foregoing, and made oath, that the same contained a just and true account of his administration, on the said deceased's estate, and produced vouchers, for most of the articles therein contained. Sworn before S. Danforth, J. Peace, and Regr. Having examined this account I allow thereof.
