Note: David, I wanted to share some info with you. I know
that you and your family have done alot of research
into Aunt Pats publication. On page 5 she mentions
Doris Duke. I have done some reading into the books
at our library. I have a book that states that the
house was built for Judge Thaddeus GOODE Holt grandson
of Simon Holt. Now Thaddeus GOODE Holt had a son who
was a captain in the Confederate Cavalry named T.G.
Holt Jr.(also a judge) who was the father of Nanaline.
After Nanaline married her second husband Duke, from
NC she moved away and the home was purchased by the
Peeler family. The information came from "White
Columns in Georgia" Medora Field Perkerson 1952...You
may already have this but thought I would share..Kristy

Note: Mr. D.L. Casey, I am writing in regards to the
corrections made to Pat Goad's "The Ancestors and
Descendants of James Marion White and Lucy Ann Holt".
I have found the information corrected very useful.
My great-grandfather is James Ivan White, I am the grand-daughter of Dick Reese White. My grandparents gave me a first copy this past weekend of Aunt Pat's work. My grandmother had said she was unsure has to how much was correct. I began searching today on Ancestry.com and that was how I found the link to you. I just wanted to say thank you for the work you have put in on the family tree. I will be passing quite a bit of the information on to them via snail mail. I also asked my grandfather about Sallie Reese being related to Byron Nelson. He said that to his knowledge she was a cousin of Byron Nelson's wife. I mention this because of entries 2707 on the ancestry.com website listed a note of your mothers in reference to this. Once again thank you for the work you have done. Sincerly Kristy White Estes

+Kristy has given us a photo of Dickie & Oneta White with their 3 sons, Jay Van White, Richard Neil White (Kristy's father) and Stevan Joseph White.
