UPDATE: Thanks to Millie Covey Fry, who has been helping me solve the delimma as to whether Ezra Mankin's mothers' maiden DYE (marriage record) or DODGE (William's History of Wash. Co., Ohio). She found this at the Wash. Co., Ohio Health Dept.:
Ezra (Oct. 18, 1841-March 9, 1923) Mankins' death record states that his mother was Harriet DODGE and she was born in Washington Co., OH. His father was Wm. Mankins and he was born in Wood Co., WV. The same info is on his sister Martha's death certificate about her mother and father.
