Edgerton - Alice A. Wille, age 80, of 800 Elm Drive, Apr 312, died Thurs., March 12, 1998, at Memorial Community Hospital. Alice was born in Edgerton on Jan. 21, 1918, the daughter of Clyde and Emelie (Jenson) Ogden. She married Henry H. Willie on Nov. 9, 1940; he died Sept. 30, 1947. Alice graduated from Edgerton High School. She had been a lifelong resident of Edgerton and was employed by the Edgerton Shoe Company for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Dick) Dowd of Janesville; her son, Robert (Marilyn) Willie of Mesa, AZ; 4 grandchildren: Barton Dowd, Bradley Dowd, Jason (Mary) Dowd, and Jill (Tom) Schneider; 5 great-grandchildren; her brother C. Earl Ogden of Edgerton; 2 nieces; and a nephew.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tues., March 17, 1998, at Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton, with Rev. David Zimdars, of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Janesville, officiating. Interment will be in Fassett Cemetery. Henke-Clarson-Holzhuter Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
