In Transit, Minn., Feb. 10th, 1872, Corydon A. Coon in the 39th year of is age. He experienced religion in his youth during a temporary residence in Rhode Island, and was baptized by Eld. C. M. Lewis. He was subsequently a member of the Second Seventh-day Baptist church of Brookfield, N. Y., his native town. Upon removing to Christiana, Wis., he became a member of the Seventh-day Baptist church of the place. He was one of the number who constituted the Seventh-day Baptist church of Transit of which he remained a faithful and efficient member until his decease. The disease of which he died was typhoid fever. He was zealous for God's cause in health, patient in sickness, and peaceful in death. He will be much missed by the community in which he lived, and by the church of which he was a loved member. He leaves a wife and two children, together with many other relatives, to mourn his death. For him, "to live was Christ, to die gain." H. W. B.
