Aged Man, Resident of City for 28 Years Dies at Daughter's Home

Evan Austin Freeman, 74, passed away about 10:20 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Harper of 349? Trumbull street following an illness extending over the past six months. The deceased was well known here having resided in Bellaire for the past 28 years. For the past five years he has been retired. Mr. Freeman was born at Simpson, W. Va. where he resided a number of years. His Wife, Mrs. Mary Freeman passed away about eight years ago. The deceased was affilliated with the First Methodist Church here. Surviving in addition to the daughter at whose home his death occurred are a son Frank M. Freeman, also of this city, nine grandchidren; five great grandchildren, also a number of brothers and sisters: Michael of Glendale, W.Va., B. F. Freeman, of Hundred, W.Va., Elijah W. of Enterprise, W. Va., Charles of Montana, W.Va., and two sisters Mrs. Ellen Rowe of Cleveland and Mrs. Alice Johnson of Holt. W.Va. Arrangements for the funeral services are incomplete. The body is at the late home."
