Note: In 1839 William Turnbull married Mary Collins, the sixteen year old daughter of Isiah Collins. They had one child,
Note: Estella, and she was Mary's only child. (Mary married again after William's death). William Turnbull and his family

Note: William Turnbull enlisted in the Union Army on the 17th of August, 1864. He served as a 1st Sgt. in Co. H., 46th Regt.
Note: of MO Inf. Vols. He died February 15, 1865 of small pox in Douglas/Ozark County, Missouri.
