Funeral services for Randy Keith Deatherage of Wilburton, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2004, in Wilburton, were at 10 today at Jones-Harkins Chapel in Wilburton with Terry Deatherage officiating. Burial was at 2 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Jones-Harkins Funeral Home of Wilburton. He was 42.

Born Oct. 25, 1962, in Shawnee, he was the son of Dickie and Flora (McNeill) Deatherage. He was a 1980 graduate of Wilburton High School. He was a hobby taxidermist and avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapping. He also enjoyed telling stories.

Survivors include his parents, Dickie and Flora Deatherage, of Wilburton; a sister, Vickie Deatherage, of Wilburton; two nephews, Derek Rogers and Dustin Deatherage, of Wilburton, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Michael Deatherage, Jimmy Deatherage Jr., Willis Deatherage, Curtis Jacobson, Kirk Stevens, David Upton, and Johnny Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Dustin Deatherage, Brandon Deatherage, Derek Rogers, Kevin Anderson, and Brian James.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Ricky Deatherage.
