She was christened on 08 Nov 1670 in Branford, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.

When she was 19, She married Nathaniel Johnson, son of Nathaniel Johnson and Mary Smith, about Nov 1689 in what is now Woodstock, Windham, Connecticut, USA. (6:1019)

Nathaniel was born 19 March 1670 in what is now Roxbury, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, son of Nathaniel Johnson and Mary Smith.

In 1682 the Colony of Massachusetts bought a tract of land, which included Woodstock, from the Mohegan Indians. In 1686 a group of 13 men from Roxbury, Massachusetts established a new town there and named it New Roxbury, Colony of Massachusetts.
His father, Nathaniel, was one of the founders of this new town of New Roxbury, then in Massachusetts NOT Connecticut!

About 1686 the family moved, about 40 miles south west of Boston, to New Roxbury, then in the Colony of Massachusetts, now Woodstock, Windham County, Connecticut.

USE CAUTION WHEN CHECKING RECORDS FOR WOODSTOCK BETWEEN 1686 AND 1749!!!
Woodstock was considered a part of Roxbury and the deeds and probates for that town were recorded in Suffolk County, Massachusetts until 1731 when this portion of Suffolk County became Worcester County, Massachusetts.
Woodstock remained a part of Worcester County until May 1749 when the town of Woodstock, formerly New Roxbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, was unilaterally annexed by Connecticut and assigned to Windham County!
