  • Note:
    Ransom T. Dodd served in Company A, 47th NC Infantry, CSA, and was wounded at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on 01 July 1863.
    He enlisted 01 March 1863 and was listed as an 18 year old farmer. After he was wounded he returned to his company 27 October 1863 and then was captured at Petersburg, Virginia, after which he was confined at Point Lookout, Maryland for the rest of the war.
