    Lilly Cornelia Barnes was the daughter of Cornelia Lucas and Griffin Barnes.
    After the mother of Lilly died, she was raised by William Lucas, and his wife Seneth, which were her grandparents.

    Lilly Cornelia Barnes married John W. Godwin and they lived on the present Blalock Road in Lucama just across the street from where their son Roy Godwin presently lives in 1998.
