    John Thomas Barnes, age 27 married Minnie E. Lucas, age 17 on November 12, 1901 at the home of Silas Lucas in Wilson, NC. The marriage was performed by John J. Douglas, Missionary Baptist Minister. Witnesses were J. R. Boykin, D. L. Boykin, and E. T. Pearson.
