As of 1894, Albert was vice-president of the Robert Mitchell Furniture Company. He had two children by his first wife who survived. The 1870 U.S. Census records a son, age 1, in the household, but I cannot decipher the name. As this boy does not appear in the 1880 enumeration, I must conclude he died young.
