      Text: Isaac F. Ruby

      A heart attack, suffered apparently while asleep, claimed Isaac F. Ruby, 76, of Long Run, about 6 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Ruby had been subject to heart attacks, but apparently was feeling well Sunday. He went to his room about 5:30 p.m. to take a nape [sic] and when his wife called him at 6 o'clock he didn't answer. On going in his room she found that he had passed away. Coroner Virgil Fowler was called and said that death was due to a heart attack.

      Mr. Ruby was a native of Scioto county and had lived on Lon Run for many years. He was a well known farmer of that vicinity. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Anna ruby and these children: Edgar, Earl, James, and Sharp Ruby and Mrs. Will Zeune, all of Long Run, and Mrs. Isabel Lyons of New Boston.

      Funeral services will be held at the Long Run U. B. church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Kemper in charge. Interment will be in Long Run cemetery under the direction of Emrick's. The body was removed to the residence Monday.
