Died on Saturday evening shortly before 11:30 from a stroke; nee Gleib; she was born on 11 Aug 1835 in Lutzelstein, near Zabern in Unter-Elsasse; she was 9 years old when her parents came to America and settled in Pittsburgh; in 1854 she came to Portsmouth with the Wolf family; in 1856 she married Mathias Kah who survives her; she also leaves behind 4 sons (Jakob, Georg, John, and Charles) and a daughter (Mrs. Lucy Wiget), and 3 brothers, 2 of whom live in Pittsburgh and 1 in NY; the funeral was on Tuesday afternoon from the First German Presbyterian Church.
