    William B. Bowe was born in the year of our Lord 19 (1808) ninth day February, Pittsylvania Co., VA. Wm. B. Bowe departed this life on the evening of the 9th of Feby, 1880 it being his seventy second birthday; he died as he lived a true and firm Christian.
