    George Franklin Frederick was the fifth child born to Abel an Elizabeth. George was born May 4, 1873, in Texas County, MO. He married Effie Mae Adams Oct. 30, 1877, in Phelps County, MO. George Franklin was a carpenter and built several structures still standing in Texas County. George Franklin and Effie Frederick had three sons.
