Martha Chambers and Rev. James Frederick lived on the Fredrick or Impey place about 2 miles south of Big Creek School. This is about where Stoddard Ln and Big Creek Road are shown on Map Quest. Map Quest shows the address as Yukon, Missouri, although Yukon has not been a post office for many years. Big Creek School is where Big Creek Road and Cockkrell Road (Road 4418) intersect. _______________
James William Frederick is buried at Big Creek Baptist Church in Big Creek, Missouri (Texas County). Big Creek and Houston are really the same, they are very small country towns. Source: Private Correspondence. However, another researcher provided the following: Big Creek is in Texas County, Missouri, about 14 miles southeast of Houston, Missouri. Highway 17 and Hwy 137 form an upside down "Y" between Yukon, Tyrone, and Eunice. A gravel road splits the "Y." It is Big Creek Road, and the church and cemetery are on that road.
From his grave marker: "In Loving Memory of James W. Frederick Co-founder and First Pastor Big Creek Freewill Baptist Church."
"Big Creek is a village named after the creek on which the town is located, ten miles southeast of Houston and twenty miles southeast of Cabool, in Ozark Township. In 1885 the population was estimated at 150, among whom were the following business men: J. W. Frederick, wagon-maker. . . ." _______________

It is possible that George Frederick, Frank Frederick, and James Frederick, Jr. are children of James Frederick and Martha Ann Chambers Frederick. Note that all three show their father born in Kentucky, which is consistent with them being sons of James Frederick (born June 1840 in Kentucky).
