In my first marriage, I was married to a Murphree. There family had come from AL and into Bruce, Calhoun Co., MS. and then a few had migrated into Eudora, ARK. I really have no info on them and both of the in laws are now deceased. There was another Murphree family who was in the insurance business in Jackson, Hinds Co., MS. We met them once at a golf tournament. My 2nd spouse is a Carlton/Bynum and he has Murphrees from AL in his line intermarried into the Carlton/Bynum family.
