Ray S. Frederick 83, born April 16, 1927 in Raleigh, NC. went to be with the Lord on June 12, 2010 in Helendale, CA. Preceded in death by his wife June (Newman) Frederick, parents, Lois and Bertha (Smith) Frederick, brothers Lois Frederick and Jack Frederick, and first wife Claudia (Shanks) Frederick Whittaker. Survived by sister in law Jean (Newman) Merchant of Helendale, CA., brother in law Chuck Newman, of Albuquerque, NM., and many nieces & nephews. Also survived by daughters Jan Muller of Vallejo, CA. & Sue Hoeft of Vacaville, CA., and 3 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Ray served in the U.S. Navy, and was retired from Goodyear Tire Company in Topeka. He will be laid to rest at the Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Riverside, CA. Dear Rays Family,
I am deeply sadden to hear of Rays passing. Ray and June were our neighbors before they moved to McCrites and Rays move to California.
He and June both were truley kind and wonderful people, they always had a kind smile and a hand if was needed, both of them thought the world of Zak from the time he was born and Zak of them as he grew. May your sorrow be lessened with the knowledge that Ray is now with June in our Heavenly Fathers Arms. May His Arms also be around all of you at this time of grief
