    WILFRED ALTON5 COE (Henry Perrigo4, Joshua3, Nathan2, William1) was born September 9, 1868, in Boone County, IA. A ranch hand and service station owner, he is remembered as a kind man who would do anything for anyone. He was killed September 23, 1948, at Council Grove, NE, by a jeep when the brakes failed as it entered a pasture while he was holding a gate. Burial was at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls, KS.


    He married August 31, 1900, at Hope, KS, Lula Myrtle Patterson, born September 7, 1880, at Marysville, KS, died June 24, 1934, at Cottonwood Falls, KS.
