A Susanna Coe was named in the will of Susanna Herod (Harriott), widow of Oliver Harriott of Baltimore County. On October 13, 1717, Oliver Harriott married Susanna Morrow in Baltimore County. Harriott died by March 28, 1750, when administration bond was posted by his wife. His estate was administered on July 12, 1751, and named his children Richard, Elizabeth, William, Susanna, and Mary.

The widow Susanna "Herod" made a will November 2, 1764, proved February 14, 1765, which named her son William, daughter Elizabeth Trapnall, daughter Susanna Coe, daughter Mary, wife of William Anderson, and grandchildren Catherine and Anne Grover. Oliver Harriott's heirs owned 50 acres of "Hunting Quarter" in Baltimore County in 1750.
Oliver Harriott was likely the person of that name who was born about 1677 in Baltimore County. In 1693/4, Thomas Hodge, godfather of Oliver Harriott, petitioned the court for Oliver, son of Ambrose Harriott, a poor orphan ... to be bound as an apprentice to age 21.

Harriott gave his age as 51 in 1728, and 69 in 1742. In the latter year he deposed that about 50 years earlier he had lived with Thomas James. In the 1694 tax list of the south side of Gunpowder Hundred, Baltimore County, Harriott and James are shown in the same household. Thomas James married Mary (widow Harrison), daughter of Edward Dowse, who had married the widow of Ambrose Harriott.
In November 1733 Oliver Harriott was declared Past his labor and made exempt from the levy.

Transported to Maryland before 1673, Ambrose Harriott's widow married Edward Dowse, who in his will dated October 30, 1690, left 100 acres to his son-in-law Oliver Harriott and another 100 acres to his daughter-in-law Unity. Oliver Harriott married (1) by June 12, 1711, Anne, widow of Lawrence Richardson. After her death, May 13, 1716, he married (2) Susanna Morrow.'
