    McCARTHY - At La Mesa, Calif., June 2, 1927, Thomas McCarthy; father of Mrs. William Pattillo, J. Tom McCarthy, Leo B. McCarthy, Mrs. Oris Orsborn, Mrs. Carl Whiteman, Mrs. Warren Duermit, William A. McCarthy and Cecelia McCarthy, all of La Mesa, Calif., and brother of Mrs. William Rice, Bridgeport, Neb., Mrs. Catherine Neville Custer, San Diego, Mrs. Flora Hartman, Craig, Colo., Mrs. Nellie Haines, Arapahoe, Neb., John McCarthy, Los Angeles, Calif., and C. A. McCarthy of Bellflower, Calif.; a native of Ohio; aged 62 years, 10 months, 14 days.

    Friends are invited to attend the solemnizing of requiem high mass at 9 a.m. at the Catholic church, La Mesa, today (Saturday), June 4, 1927. Interment Mission Hills Catholic cemetery. Brickson Funeral Parlors conducting.
