    This publication conjectures that David's father, John Beauchamp, (born in Delware, fought in the War of 1812, died in Ohio), was the son of John Beauchamp, Senior, who might be the son of Marcy Beauchamp. Marcy's father was Edward Beauchamp, son of Edmund Beauchamp of Maryland.

    There are conflicting records on LDS, RootsWeb and Ancestry.com (One World Tree) regarding this family. Since no one puts down sources, it is difficult to determine which genealogy is correct, if any.
