Obituary in The Muncie Star-Press --MUNCIE -- Bobby Joe Rhum Sr., 43, Muncie, passed away Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 10, 1961, in Muncie to Oscar C. and Chjristine E. Lowe Rhum Sr. Mr. Rhum attended Munice Southside High School. Survivors include one daughter, Rhonda Mae Rhum, Muncie; one son, Bobby Joe Rhum Junior, Muncie; and two stepsons, Christopher J. and Michale, both of California, his mother, Christine Rhum, Muncie; one sister, Phyllis Rhum, Anderson; three brothers, Charles Rhjum (wife Becky) of Marion, Daniel and Perry Lee Rhum, Muncie; two grandsons, Conner William Van Scyoc and Sabastian Viadric Rhum of Muncie. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Stewart Rhum; his father, Oscar C. Rhum Junior; and brother Donnie Ray Rhum. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Willard Allred officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
