Dear Skip_Barnwell, I'm looking for information on Fannie (Walton) Pollard. She was African American but from looking at her you couldn't tell she could definitly pass for white and the family members that are still living said that is what they beleived she did (se lead two different lives). She would only come and visit them and nobody ever went to visit her. Here is what I know of her: Fannie Walton DOB 9-24-1886 - 1-24-1972 Married twice but I don't know who her 1st husband is I just know she was a widow. Her 2nd husband name was Boston Pollard and they married on April,14,1921 in Demopolis, Alabama to which no children came of this marriage. To my knowledge Fannie had no children and she never worked. Some say there is a park in Demopolis named after her!!! She had one sister that I know of by the name of Lucinda who married a man by the name if Allen George Green - her parents names were Noah and Clora Walton. Just curious if our Fannie is the same person. Jenille ??-dont know if same person
