  • Note:

BIOGRAPHY: Kazimierz Wajkowski is first mentioned in his daughter's birth certificate as a court labourer living in the village of Gaby, near: Mszczonow in the district of Zyrardow. His wife is listed as Zofia Szczepanska. We then learn about his occupation and place of residence in his second daughter's birth certificate, according to which he was a forester in the small village of Kowiesy (not to be mistaken for the town of Kowiesy, somewhat farther west near Skierniewice) in the parish area of Osuchow, near: Mszczonow in 1862. His wife is then listed as Malgorzata Szypulska. Therefore I presume that Zofia Szczepanska was his first wife, who died between the dates of birth of the two daughters of Kazimierz. Kazimierz must have moved to Kowiesy (between 1858 and 1862). Interestingly, his first wife's death certificate or Kazimierz's second marriage certificate are not to be found in the records of the parish in Mszczonów or Osuchów. So, he must have moved somewhere even before his first wife's death, married while living there and only then moved to Kowiesy, where his second known child was brought to world by his second wife.
Later, Kazimierz's son Jozef was born in the neighboring village of Piekary, and Kazimierz himself was a labourer there at the time of Jozef's birth in 1866. So, he must have moved from Kowiesy to Piekary between 1862 and 1866. That is the last information about him I have managed to find, so I presume they moved again later, probably somewhere nearer to Zyrardow, as Bronislawa got married in that area.
