Page at capital before serving five yrs. at the case as practical printer; became a newspaper reporter while working at the case; in journalism, 1880 - ; reporter in Washington, corr. United Press, then on Washington staff Baltimore Sun, and later on New York Sun 5 yrs.; corr. New York Herald and Telegram, Savannah News and Charleston News and Courier. Secured some famous interviews; notably that on a streetcar with Sir Julian Pauncefote in the Behring Sea dispute. Home: Washington, D.C. Died 1906
