    "Anna W. Asbury"

    "Anna Wright Asbury, 82, Tacoma, former pioneer North Central Washington resident, died in a Tacoma nursing home Wednesday, following a long illness."

    "Born Jan. 30, 1876, at Waukon, Iowa, Mrs. Asbury was married to Gilbert S. Asbury there [sic] Feb. 15, 1899. She came to Waterville with her family in 1900, locating on a homestead northeast of town. The family moved to Quincy in 1905 and to Brewster in 1916 [sic]. In 1952 Mrs. Asbury moved to the coast to make her home with a daughter."

    "Mr. Asbury died in 1949 and a son, Forrest Asbury, in 1936."

    "She was a member of the Christian Church and Brewster Rebekah Lodge and a 50-year member of Harmony Chapter OES, Waterville."

    "Surviving are one son, Earl W. Asbury, Stockton, Calif., five daughters, Mrs. Frank Nelson, Tacoma, Mrs. Faye Larner, Wenatchee, Mrs. Jo S. Harder and Miss Alice Asbury both of Seattle, and Mrs. John Felice, Olympia; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."
