LIVINGSTON - Graveside services for Era Claudie Ozan, 70, of Livingston were held Wednesday at Mt. Rose Cemetery with the Rev. Frank Hood officiating.
Mrs. Ozan died Monday at her home in Livingston. She was born March 19, 1913 in Nacogdoches, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Owens. She had lived in Polk County for the past 53 years.
Surviving family include her husband, Roscoe Ozan of Livingston; one daughter, Evelyn Casey of Alvin; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Joyce and V. J. Gallaway of Livingston; two grandsons, Jimmy Dale Ozan of Alvin and Roscoe Coleman Burnett of Alvin; two sisters, Viola Weatherford of Reklaw and Edda [Etta] Walder [Walker] of Tenaha and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were V. J. Gallaway, Roscoe Burnett, Marvin Holloway Sr., Johnny Long, Richard Carlos and Lew Lane.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
