Milton Scott Whittington, 47, of Liberty died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Houston.

He was born May 17, 1962 in Dayton, Texas, was a lifelong resident of this area attending and graduated from Liberty High School. Scott was a member of the First United Methodist Church, loved his family, enjoyed grilling outside, being a loyal Astros fan and traveling. He was known for his knowledge of electronics and was always helping others.

Services for Scott will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Dayton with Rev. Jon Stouffer officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home.

He is survived by his loving parents: Bowen H. and Nell Norcross Whittington of Liberty; his brother: Michael Whittington of Dayton; his sister: Wendy Whittington of Alexandria, Virginia; niece: Amy Brook Whittington of Liberty; nephew: Shane Whittington of Dayton; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
